Design Originals - often imitated, never duplicated. We dedicate ourselves to the value of true design originals

The enthusiasm for a new design often only lasts until the next trend. Real design originals, on the other hand, are everlasting. But what distinguishes it? How do you recognize their authenticity?

In any case, one thing is very clear. Above all, the people behind it - designers, engineers, companies - are an essential factor. With their belief in a new design, both the creative ones and the responsible manufacturers reveal their own way of thinking and acting - and thus take an attitude. Often uncoupled from economic aspects. Because it can take years or even decades before success is achieved.

The Conseta sofa designed by Friedrich Wilhelm Möller is one of these design originals. It was launched by COR in 1964 and has been in production ever since.

Together with well-known manufacturers such as Artemide, Gira and Thonet, we take a stand: for the value of real design originals. The cooperative campaign "Design Originals" initiated by Gira in 2020 goes into the second round this year and shows the people behind the brands.
